After researching underserved communities in Charlotte and considering where I could make an impact, I chose to focus on adult men struggling with alcohol abuse and their connection to suicide. My first project for onQUEUE was a podcast aimed at supporting family and friends of those affected by alcoholism and suicide. In each episode, loved ones share their personal stories, offering advice and insights to help others facing similar challenges. The podcast will be released every Monday and available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and directly through onQUEUE.com. To promote the podcast, I designed a series of web ads that will appear when users search for terms related to suicide or alcoholism.
The next product that I created was a merch line to advertise onQUEUE. This merch line consists of crewnecks, t-shirts, beanies, and stickers that have minimal words and very distinct icons that are consistent with my branding. Using short sentences and direct messaging allows people to easily read the merch while passing by and immediately understand the message.
My third and final product is a website. This resource will be available to explain the goals on onQUEUE, stream the podcast and listen to past episodes, purchase merchandise, read and submit anonymous stories, and find help nearby. It is a way for people to easily find all information about the brand in one place.
